Slow Revolution is a business that provides the following services and products:

• e-Commerce, offering preloved clothing, shoes and accessories
• Product information
• A blog and social media content

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms and Conditions constitutes acceptance of those changes.

ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

In order to use the Services, you must register an account with Slow Revolution directly.

If you choose to register an account with the Services (whether directly or through a TPS), you agree to provide and maintain accurate, current and complete information about yourself. Registration data and certain other information about you are governed by our Privacy Policy. Unless we expressly authorize you to do so, you are only authorized to create and use one account for the Services and are prohibited from using alter egos or other disguised identities when using the Services.

You also represent and warrant that you

1. have not previously been suspended or removed from the Services;
2. do not have more than one account; and
3. that you have full power and authority to enter into these Terms and in doing so will not violate any other agreement to which you are a party.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. Slow Revolution reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in its sole discretion.

No agency, partnership, joint venture, employee-employer or franchisor-franchisee relationship is intended or created under these Terms or your use of the Services.

COPYRIGHT, TRADEMARKS AND OTHER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Slow Revolution owns the intellectual property rights in all of the content of this website or has permission to use or display the material on this website. 

You may not use, copy, display, distribute, modify, translate, reformat, incorporate into advertisements and other works, promote, create derivative works, or in any way exploit or allow others to exploit any of our website content in whole or in part except as expressly authorised by us.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Many of our items are sourced as secondhand items and because of this, those items are often only available for sale as a once-off purchase. On the rare occasion when an item displayed on our website is not available, we will contact you by email or phone and provide you with the opportunity to select an alternative product, or to cancel the item from your order.

Please be aware that on occasion, due to a wide variety of computer monitor and device screen settings, true colours of items may not be accurately reflected and may affect the way items appear. Slow Revolution cannot be held responsible for any colour discrepancies by interpretation.

We do our best to accurately describe the product colours however should you have any questions please contact us and quote the SKU code reference for further assistance.

GIFT CARDS

You may purchase Slow Revolution gift cards through the Services (“Gift Cards”) via the website or other methods offered. Your purchase, use or acceptance of any Gift Card constitutes acceptance of the Gift Card Terms. The Gift Card Terms constitute a contractual agreement between you and Slow Revolution which is the issuer and sole legal obligor of the Gift Cards.

Our Gift Cards are denominated in Australian Dollars.  The Gift Cards are neither debit cards nor credit cards. The amount of the Gift Card you purchase shall be charged to you according to your selected payment option when you confirm the purchase of the Gift Card.

Gift Cards can be redeemed solely for merchandise through our website and are not refundable or redeemable for cash except to the extent required by law. Risk of loss and title for Gift Cards pass to the purchaser upon electronic transmission to the purchaser or designated recipient, or Slow Revolution’s delivery to the carrier, whichever is applicable. Slow Revolution is not responsible for lost or stolen Gift Cards, or for use without your or the recipient’s permission. Slow Revolution reserves the right to close accounts or request alternative forms of payment if a Gift Card is fraudulently obtained or used.

Purchase, use or acceptance of the Gift Card constitutes acceptance of the Slow Revolution’s Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and these Gift Card Terms. If you do not agree with these Gift Card Terms, do not purchase, use or accept the Gift Card. We reserve the right to modify, alter, change or amend these Gift Card Terms from time to time in its discretion without advance notice.  By accepting these Gift Card Terms you also agree to accept any such modifications to the terms and conditions, which shall be posted here. The date of the last update to these Gift Card Terms is always indicated near the top of this page, and any change in such date shall constitute notice to you that the terms and conditions have changed.Personal information that you provide in connection with the purchase or redemption of Gift Cards will be governed by the Slow Revolution Privacy Policy.

You may be able to obtain your gift card balance by contacting us at support@slowrevolution.com.au. The Gift Card balance relayed to you by a customer service agent is an estimate only. In most cases, the balance is adjusted immediately when you make a purchase online, but there may be occasions when the updated balance is delayed for a period of time.

No fees apply to Gift Cards. Expiry date is 2 years from the date of issue.

A Gift Card is not valid and will not be honored, and Slow Revolution will not be liable for the value of the Gift Card, if the Gift Card is obtained from an unauthorized seller or reseller, including through any Internet auction site. Slow Revolution shall not have any liability to you for Gift Cards that are lost, destroyed, altered, or used without your permission. We may elect in limited circumstances at its own discretion to replace the remaining value of any lost, destroyed, or altered Gift Cards.

Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, if any part of these Gift Card Terms is deemed invalid or inapplicable, such provision shall be modified or restricted to the extent and in the manner necessary to render it valid, legal, and enforceable. If such provision cannot be so modified or restricted, it shall be excised from these Gift Card Terms without affecting the validity, legality, or enforceability of the remainder of these Gift Card Terms, which shall be fully enforced.

ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e‑mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgement, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS

To the extent you as a buyer effect any transaction on the Services using a credit card, you must have a valid credit card on file, and we will (or a third-party credit card processor may) store your credit card information. We (or such third-party credit card processor) will verify your credit card information (including expiration date and billing address) but will not charge your credit card unless you conduct an activity through the Services that requires your credit card to be charged. By agreeing to pay for a transaction with your credit card, you authorise us to charge your credit card.

DELIVERY

Delivery time frames provided by us are estimates only. We will notify you on the day your order leaves our premises. We are not liable for delays incurred by the delivery provider.

It is your responsibility to provide a complete and accurate delivery address. When inaccurate or incomplete delivery information is provider, re-delivery costs are at your expense.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Due to the nature of our business unfortunately we do not accept returns or provide refunds for change of mind or items that do not fit. Please read the item description carefully or reach out to us if you have a question on a particular item and quote the SKU#.

If you receive an incorrect or faulty item, or believe that an item is significantly different to the image or description on our website then please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item to arrange for return/refund of that item. We will always work with you to resolve any issues and we endeavour to provide you with the best level of customer service at all times.

Simply contact us and we can discuss how we move forward with any questions or concerns. Slow Revolution will cover the return shipping expense.

CANCELLING AN ORDER

We can only cancel orders that have not been dispatched. Most orders are shipped within 1-3 business days after the order has been processed. If you have submitted an order in error or changed your mind after your order has been shipped, we do not accept returns, so please choose your items wisely.
